Giving our children a voice.
Meet our School Council.
Each class has a representative on the School Council. School councillors are elected by their classmates at the beginning of each academic year.
Meetings are held every half term and councillors discuss and offer solutions to problems. (These may include school lunches, playground resources and organisation, the learning environment, behaviour or ideas for fundraising events.)
Councillors are expected to discuss issues within their classes and to give all pupils a voice by reporting back to a member of staff and governors at council meetings. The new playground equipment and improvements were made on the recommendations of the School Council.
