Welcome to Year 3.
Our Year 3 teacher for 2017/18 is Mrs Irwin.
In Year 3, the children study various topics including “Holiday destinations” “The Bronze Age” “Rivers, Mountains and the water cycle” “Roman Britain” and “Africa.”
Year 3’s English topics are split into sections, stories with familiar settings, information texts, play scripts, instruction texts, science fiction/fantasy fiction, poems, explanation texts, mystery stories, non-chronological reports, and folktales.
Lots of exciting visits/visitors are organised, and we have many local church visits throughout the year.
We have been looking at fractions this week in maths.

On Tuesday 23rd January 2018, we held our first Learning Together Session in Year 3. Both, children and staff enjoyed sharing their maths lesson with families and friends.
