Our Aims

We aim to:

  • encourage an understanding of all faiths and cultures within our caring Christian community.
  • encourage staff and families to support our children to aim high and achieve their very best within a happy and supportive environment.  
  • inspire academic achievement, personal development and spiritual flourishing, by offering all our children access to a wide range of opportunities that challenge them to reach their potential, experience moments of awe and wonder, and promote a sense of self - worth. ‘Our Top Ten Opportunities’ have been developed carefully to support this.
  • provide a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum, appropriate for all children, regardless of ability or need  
  • foster a culture of good behaviour and manners
  • encourage kindness, co-operation, tolerance and respect for others  
  • develop perseverance, confidence, self –motivation and independence  
  • encourage spiritual reflection
  • encourage children to explore issues of justice, think of others and take on responsibilities that enable them to make positive choices and contributions to their school family, community and wider world.
  • recognise and celebrate every success and achievement
  • involve the wider community in the life of the school: parents, governors, PTFA, members of our local community, neighbouring schools and churches along with global links.
  • help our children to flourish together in a Christian community where all children are supported to achieve and believe in themselves.
